Alfretta DuBose 51, of Junction City, KS passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2003 in Manhattan, Kansas. Services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at Second Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m., with a burial at the Highland Cemetery. Reverend Audrey Toombs will officiate. Visitation will be on Monday, July 7, 2003, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel.
She was born March 10, 1952 in Atkins, Arkansas the daughter of Alphonso and Asalene (Templeton) Jefferson, Sr.
She was married to Larry DuBose on November 12, 1983 in Junction City,
KS. He survives.
She was a Budget Analyst for SWCPOC. She was a member of the Second Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her Husband, Larry Dubose, Junction City, KS.; Two Sons, Anthony Jefferson of Phenix City, Alabama and Andre Holloway of Junction City, KS.; One Daughter, Ashley DuBose of Junction City, KS.; One Brother, Alphonso Jefferson, Jr. of Junction City, KS.; Two Sisters, Carolyn Washington of Milford, KS. and Loretta Smith of Junction City, KS. Three Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents and a great-niece.
Casket bearers will be Kenneth Bellamy, Kenny Carrol, Phillip Cunningham, Steve Dupree, Lewis Freeman, Corey Shook.
Organist will be Frances Clark and the vocalist will be Adrienne Smith.
