Alberta Anderson

Alberta M. Anderson, 93 of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on December 25, 2002 at her residence. Services will be at the Ward Chapel AME Church at 10:00 a.m., December 31, 2002 with burial at the Highland Cemetery. Reverend Euzell Ball will officiate. Visitation will be at the Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30, 2002. Memorial contributions can be made to Ward Chapel AME Church Building Fund.

She was born on July 11, 1909 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to Albert W. and Laura M. Rhea Settle
She Received her Masters degree from the University of Indiana.
Married to L.L. Owens in Washington D.C., he preceded her in
death. She then married Earl Anderson in Princeton, Indiana, he preceded her in death.
She was an Elementary Teacher. She retired in 1974. She is a member of Ward Chapel AME Church, and the NAACP.
Survivors include Two Sister: Elizabeth Brooks, Louisville, KY. and Allene Esters, Junction City,
KS.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Spouses, Sister: Rose Woolfolk.
