Memorial Services for Adeline M. Blair, 84, Junction City will be 6:00pm Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at First Christian Church, 1429 St. Mary's Rd with Pastor Ronnie Roberts officiating. No visitation is planned. Private family inurnment will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington, KS. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
Adeline was born February 4, 1922 in White City, KS to Alva James and Jessie Marie (Plott) Cameron. She graduated from White City High School in 1939. She lived in Newport New, VA for 18 years before returning to the area.
Adeline was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Diana G. Blair, Junction City, three sons, Charles E. May, Newport News, VA, Ronald E. May, Abbeville, GA and Gary D. May; two sisters Rose M. Wallace, Ocala, FL, Dorothy M. Kirkland, Batesburg, SC; one brother Dean Cameron, Junction City, and eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were two sons, Dennis Lee May and Rex Galen May, one brother, Leo N. Cameron, one sister Avis L. Sampson and her parents.
