Memorial services for Ada I. Warnock, 75 of Junction City will be Monday, April 4, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church, 1429 Saint Mary's Rd. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place a later date at Liberty Cemetery. Mrs. Warnock passed away on March 30, 2011 at her home. Memorial contributions may be made to Home Care and Hospice, c/o Geary Community Healthcare Foundation and or First Christian Church.
Ada was born August 7, 1935 in Bayard, KS to Otis and Eva (Jones) Zornes.
Ada worked for Derby-Coastal Mart for 33 years. During her career with Derby Coastal Mart she was a manager, supervisor and later an area representative. After her career with Derby-Coastal, she worked as the Office Manager for A&D Electric for ten years in Junction City. She was a member of First Christian Church in Junction City.
She married Howard Warnock February 2, 1979, in Wichita, Kansas. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Douglas Mancuso and Gregory Mancuso both of Junction City, KS and three daughters, Roxanna Siegrist and husband John of Belle Plaine, KS; Dianna Charland and husband John of Junction City, KS and Shari Cooper and husband Lance of Overland Park, KS; two brothers, Dale Zornes of Kansas City, MO and Larry Zornes of Moran, KS; two sisters, Jane Hermon of Derby, KS and Iva Stottler of Moran, KS. She is survived by her grandchildren, Robyn Baldwin, Kara Siegrist-Taylor, Michael Mancuso, Adam Charland, Rhonda Siegrist, Dillon Charland, Jordan Cooper, Ryan Mancuso and John Mancuso. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Jaden Baldwin, Audryanna Baldwin and Adalynn Baldwin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Dub, Ronald, Samuel and Orval Zornes and three sisters, Leola Vanetta, Hellen and Burilla Zornes.
